In collaboration with Quarrymans Hotel for Sydney Craft Beer Week 2016, we launched Pyrmont Double Rye IPA.

To celebrate DOUBLE the goodness of our multi award-winning Pyrmont Rye IPA 6.5%, we kicked off SCBW with a “Meet the Brewers” session at Quarrymans as well as giving all patrons their first brew on us with nibbles to match!

PYRMONT DOUBLE RYE IPA

  • Surry Hills Pils – Silver
  • Darlo Dark – Silver
  • Pyrmont Rye IPA – Silver
  • Nulla Natural – Silver (specialty draught beer)
  • Salaryman –  Bronze (specialty draught beer)
  • Alter Ego Bronze – (one off for GABS)

Head Brewer, Michael Capaldo, said it had been another triumphant year for the team at Sydney Brewery.

“It was fantastic to win the European trophy again, as Lovedale Lager won best European Style Lager at 2014 AIBA, best draught beer in show at Sydney Royal Beer and Cider Show 2015 and again best European Style Lager at 2016 AIBA. We are also very proud to be winners of the Best International Lager in Show with our Glamarama.  We are really passionate about quality craft beer, so consistently winning trophies at AIBA and Sydney Royal in the lager category is a great indication of the level of quality and consistency consumers can expect from all beers and ciders brewed by Sydney Brewery”
